NABI President’s Observations on Next Steps in Airbus/Boeing, Digital Services Taxes, and Steel and Aluminum Tariffs and Investigations Suspensions.
In a Blog article, NABI President Robert M. Tobiassen shared his views, and not those of NABI, on the status and nature of the suspensions or terminations of tariffs and USTR investigations in three major trade disputes: Airbus/Boeing, Digital Services Taxes (DST), and Steel and Aluminum. While these actions are all very positive steps, we should recognize that there is still work to be done. These suspensions and terminations are each an Armistice that ceases the hostilities in these trade wars, but the final peace agreements have yet to be written.
